Facebook fan pages provides you many opportunities to promote your business. It has many features for organizations, public figures, brands and business. It violates Facebook rules if you promote anything from your Facebook timeline.
If you have too many friends and followers and don’t want to violates Facebook rules then it is a better choice to change your Facebook Timeline into Facebook Fan Page.
By converting your timeline into page all your friends and followers will converted into fan page likes. For Example, if you have 500 friends and 1000 followers then after converting from timeline to fan page you will have 1500 fan page likes.
All your content will shifted to your newly created page and you will remain the admin of all your fan pages you managed but you won’t remain the admin of any group or app you managed from your personal account so be sure to add new admins before converting.
The method of converting from Timeline to Facebook page is very easy. We explain all steps with pictures.
Steps:
1- Login to your profile which you want to convert and then Copy below link and paste it in your browsers address bar.

2- A window will open
3- Select the type of page you want. We selected “Artist, Band or Public Figure”.
4- Select a suitable category, Enter the name as we mention with arrow. The name should be same as your profile has. Otherwise Facebook shows you an error like in below picture
5- Click on “Get Started”. A popup will appear as shown below
6- Enter your password and hit continue.
The conversion process is complete here. Now Set Up your page!
7- Now Enter you page’s Description then click on Save Info.
8- Add a Suitable Profile Picture for your page then click on next.
9- Add payment method if you want to promote your page through Facebook ads.
Remember this step is an optional step you can skip it
10- If you Add it to favorite you can easily access your page from Facebook homepage under favorite in right panel. This step is also optional you can skip this.
Congratulation, you have successfully converted your Facebook Timeline into Facebook pages. Now your friends and followers are your page likes and you can promote your business among them.
